Our Association’s monthly gathering took place, centered on “Global Tensions, Maritime Dimensions: Understanding Industry Impact.”
We were privileged to hear from experts in geopolitics, maritime intelligence, crewing, and market analysis, who shared valuable insights on today’s evolving global landscape. From shifting East–West dynamics and the U.S.–China relationship, to real-world impacts on shipping and energy markets, the discussion connected global developments with industry realities. A key takeaway: modern maritime threats are increasingly focused on disruption and psychological impact – raising important concerns around seafarer wellbeing and the spread of misinformation on board.
